Labs

Ignore this information if you are in BIO 1113. It only applies to BIO 1114, General Biology with lab.

Students enrolled in BIO 1114 will complete a series of lab exercises for this class. These labs are available online. The link to labs is in WebCT.

Your tuition included a $25 lease fee for a lab kit. Bring a copy of your tuition receipt to the Science Center in 1D2 of the main building. This kit must be returned before you can receive a grade for the class at the end of the semester. The due date for returning the lab kit will be listed in the schedule for the class. You must complete every lab. Refer to the syllabus for information about how labs affect your grade in BIO 1114. Your final grade will be reduced if you do not return the lab kit on time.

Follow the links for each lab and record your results or answers to questions. When you have finished a lab you will need to submit a lab report. Lab report forms are in the dropbox in WebCT. Go to dropbox instructions.

There will be a lab midterm and lab final. A link to the objectives for the lab midterm and lab final is on the hompage.
