Biology courses at OKCCC are some of the most demanding courses taught at the college. They require constant attention, study and effort. As you progress through the course, refer to your course syllabus on a daily basis and read the objectives for each unit of instruction. The objectives are used to develop presentations, guide lectures, conduct reviews and write test questions. In order to develop appropriate insights, with respect to course content, you must attend lecture and laboratory classes and actively participate in the assigned learning activities. Always ask questions if you are not sure about something. When you need additional help, you may go to the OKCCC SCIENCE CENTER or meet with your instructor. Use your textbook, manuals, handouts, etc. on a regular basis to clarify your leaning activities. Remember, learning new concepts is a difficult process and cannot be done overnight. Spread your learning activities over time and review on a regular basis. Remember the equation:

In other words, STUDY, QUESTION, READ, WRITE , RECITE and REVIEW in order to achieve the grade you desire.
