Requirements
What are the requirements?
- Graduate from an Oklahoma City or Western Heights public high school and start college at OCCC in the following academic year.
- Complete the OKC-GO Application Packet and turn it in by the July 1st deadline
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each academic year
Are there requirements for continuing in the OKC-GO program?
Yes. Once a student has been approved for the program, certain academic requirements must be maintained in order to continue receiving funding. Students must enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters, and successfully complete at least 66% of their coursework with a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Attendance during Summer semesters is optional, but GPA and completion standards remain the same.
