Make It, Bake It, sale approaching

Shawnee mayor to speak at BPA presentation

Quiz show coming to College Union

Degree Check It Out

Graduation Services will be available to answer questions regarding degree requirements, graduation and similar topics from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, and Wednesday, April 11 by the Communications Lab in the Main Building foyer. Summer internships at fair

The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce will host the 2007 Greater Oklahoma City Career Fair from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at the Cox Business Services Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City. For more information, contact Christine Berney at 405-297-8990.

Psi Beta membership drive

Psi Beta is looking for new members. Students who are interested must have at least a 3.0 GPA, have completed at least 12 hours of college credit, and must be interested in majoring in psychology. Three of the 12 hours must be in a psychology course. Induction will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 13 in the College Theater. Summer Tuition Fee Waiver applications available

Tuition Fee Waiver applications for the summer semester are now available in the Student Financial Aid Office. Completed applications must be submitted before 5 p.m. Friday, April 20. For more information, contact Student Financial Support Services at 405-682-7542.

Essay contest open to students

The Oklahoma Global Education Consortium is holding its seventh annual essay contest. The top three entries will receive a cash award of $200 at the OGEC conference held October 4, 2007. Entries must be word-processed and double spaced in 12 point font, and must be approximately 500 words in length. Submissions are due Friday, April 20, and may be sent as a Word attachment to Shenethia Manuel at smanuel@rose.edu.

Art appreciation course

The Downtown College Consortium is offering a non-credit survey course for students wishing to learn about visual art at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. The course will be held Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. from April 5 to May 24. Cost ranges from $50 to $70. For more information, contact Gary Davidson at 405-232-3382, or 405-682-1611, ext. 7148.

Engineering Scholarship Offered

Kelly Engineering Resources is accepting entries for its fifth annual Future Engineers Scholarship Program. Sophomore- and junior-level college students can apply by submitting an essay on a designated engineering topic for a chance at the $5,000 scholarship. Photo Club to exhibit art

The Photo Club will hold a photography exhibit from April 30 to May 7 in the foyer of the Main Building to showcase the art of club members and graphic communications students.
