In an effort to raise money for competitions, the Business Professionals of America will hold a bake sale and auction from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, near the main entrance of the College Union.

Lisa Adkins, BPA faculty adviser, said this is the first time BPA has held a bake sale and auction.

“We are wanting to raise money for a competition the students will be attending in Dallas,” Adkins said.

Not only will bake goods and Christmas sweets be available, she said, but jewelry as well.

“A pair of silver and sarkowsky crystal Christmas earrings are going to auctioned off,” Adkins said.

“All the cakes, sweets and bake goods are homemade,” she said. “Some will be sold individually and others will be sold individually.”
