Members of Phi Theta Kappa will spread their holiday spirit by caroling and donating gifts to residents of Grace Living Center at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19.

Cynthia Praefke, PTK public relations secretary, said the organization decided to visit the living center as their year-end service project.

"At first we were just going to carol, but we decided if were going to go, why not take some gifts," Praefke said.

PTK president Alex Wilkes said donations are welcome by anyone.

“We are accepting donations such as candy, socks and lotions,” Wilkes said."Any donations would be very much appreciated."

She said donations should be dropped off by 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, in the PTK box inside the Student Life Office.

Praefke said the organization needs the donations by this time because they are making gift bags.

"If you want to donate but can't be there by 3 p.m. on Thursday, leave a gift in Student Life before Saturday and we will pick them up before we go," she said.
