Stolen money, truck tailgate top crime reports

Some $110 was gone when a stolen gym bag was located on campus Feb. 16, according to a report by Campus Safety and Security. The bag had been reported missing from the Wellness Center earlier that day.
According to the report, the victim Timothy Schiltz said he arrived at the Wellness Center gym at 12:22 p.m. where he place his bag in the blue storage area, across from the Wellness Center desk.
At 12:58 p.m., Shiltz discovered his bag was missing. He said it contained $160, car keys, swimming trunks, a hunting and fishing license, Social Security card and a credit card.
The bag was located in another storage area, and all the items were found except for most of the cash.
In another report, a pickup tailgate was stolen in parking lot C on Feb. 15. A review of surveillance video of the parking lot showed that the victim, Paul Lister, had been followed into the lot by a white Cheverolet Silverado pickup.
According to the security report, Sgt. Kevin Tipton and Lister reviewed video footage and observed the truck drove around the lot for a while, before pulling into the parking space behind Lister’s truck. The video showed two individuals getting out and going to Lister’s truck.
The truck then left lot C around the backside of campus to the secondary May Avenue entrance.
Lister flied a report with Sgt. Mosier of the Oklahoma City Police Department.
