Philharmonic concert tickets $5 for students

The Oklahoma City Philharmonic has kicked off the 2007-2008 concert series.

Come see the OKC Philhamronic perform with featured guest artists in any of their Classical or Pops shows.

All performances are held at the Civic Center Music Hall in downtown Oklahoma City.

All high school and college students with a valid student ID are eligible to purchase Classics or Pops tickets at $5 a piece (Visa and Master Card accepted, cash encouraged). Just come to the Civic Center box office 20 minutes before the performance(s) you are attending and present your ID at the counter.

The OKC Philharmonic performs about 20 times a season with featured guest artists in the Classical and Pops genres.

Experience the timeless works of Beethoven and other classical composers with the OKC Philharmonic accompanied by artists including Sarah Chang (Violin) and Andrew von Oeyen (Piano). Also, enjoy Pops performances that have something for everyone.

This season at the Pops is more exciting than ever with guests including Pink Martini and Art Garfunkel.

Let’s not forget the family favorite “Very Merry Pops,” which is returning for another season.

“Very Merry Pops” will run from Nov. 29 through Dec. 1.
