Degree check fair set for Dec. 3 & 4

Students looking to graduate soon can make one stop on Dec. 3 to make sure everything is in order.

The Graduation Office will host a “Degree Check It Out” fair from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4.

The fair will be set up across from the Communications Lab on the first floor of the Main Building.

OCCC’s graduation staff will be available to answer questions, do degree evaluations, take graduation applications, and more said Barbara Gowdy, graduation services director .

“All students are welcome to come by and visit,” she said.

The staff will have computers to access records. Students should bring their photo ID, Gowdy said.

She said the fair is for any student at any point in their academic career who is interested in getting a degree from OCCC.

“If you are a younger student, then you can come by and check out who’s your adviser and if you’re on the right track to graduating.”
