Conclusion: An Attractive Roof
The roof is a major part of a house and covers the foundation, floors, walls, and all of the other interior details. Often the entire character of the house is affected by the style of the roof. An essay conclusion is much the same. Many beginning writers rely on a summary conclusion and simply review what has been covered in the essay. However, this review is usually not needed in a five paragraph personal essay. Instead, an essay should include a general application of the main idea, a link to the attention getter in the introduction, and a sense of finality.
